We just returned a couple days ago from a road trip vacation to parts of California north of our mountain – the Bay Area and the Central Valley. Most of our vacations these days look just like this one because both my husband’s family and my family live in Northern California.
We pulled into our driveway late Tuesday night and were met with weather suited more to late Spring and it occurred to me that Winter had failed to make an appearance while we were gone. The thick fog hasn’t even been kicking around on our mountain as it usually does.
Ah, life in dry and drying California.
To transport myself to a more wintery and damp place, I have been following @fordeabbey. The photo above was taken in the glass house at Forde Abbey on a cold and wet winter day.
How has your Winter been so far? Let me know in the comments. I hope you all have a great weekend!
